Bellingham Travel & Food Day 1 and 2

Day 1

Today, our friend Julie picked us up from our Airbnb location and drove us to her beautiful home in Bellingham, WA. After about 1.5 hours of driving, we fueled up on brunch at Homeskillet! Homeskillet is probably one of the best places I've ever eaten brunch. They also get brownie points for their cool restaurant vibe and scary clown bathroom (Don't worry, I won't show you the bathroom to save you from the horror...or awesomeness if you like clowns.)

You know dear...Karma's only a bitch, if you are. ;)
So punny~
One of my favorite parts about Bellingham: King Pup! Here's only a bit of the thousands of pictures I took of this cutie:
Next up, watching the Seahawks vs Panthers match! Obviously, Seahawks won! GO SEAHAWKS!!!
Julie being a cutie! :)
Day 2

Sunday Funday! BRUNCH again because why not? This is the best time to eat! The Fork at Agate Bay makes the best Chicken Fried Steak I have ever eaten in my life. YUM! Beignets here are also pretty on point. They're served with a chocolate, strawberry, AND caramel dipping sauce. Hot damn, they are delicious! :D The Eggs Benedict is pretty good too.
Much Twilight vibes
Heavenly beignets!

After our decadent meal, we took a nice little walk around Whatcom Falls Park. Although it can get pretty cold and misty in Bellingham, the air feels super fresh and clean. It's definitely an ideal place to go running!
Cute bridge

Rapid rushing water!
Gorgeous!
Later, we grabbed some coffee & tea at Avellino. They make a drink called Cafe Rolo, which is basically a mocha caramel latte, and it is to die for!

Pfft, coffee obviously isn't enough, so we visited Mallard Ice Cream. I ordered Honey Chevré Smoked Black Pepper and Coconut Chocolate Chunk With Almonds. Pretty awesome flavors. <3 All their ice cream is handmade at the store and they're stocked with deliciously unique flavors! Plus, the servers here are GREAT! They're probably the friendliest and most helpful jokesters that will ever serve you quality ice cream.

All I do is eat, eat, eat no matter what
Got food on mind, I can never get enough
And every time I step up in the restaurant
Everybody hands go up

How do you like my version of DJ Khaled's All I Do is Win? ;P Hahaha~ Alright, now to move onto dinner! We ended up eating at a wicked cool creole/cajun restaurant downtown called Bayou on Bay.
Posin' for the camera~
Spicy jambalaya w/ cornbread! Yum!
Tomorrow, we'll be heading back to Seattle for one last day of adventure. Bye for now!
Good night world!
